Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has completed the acquisition of 51% of Salvia Group GmbH. Based in the Stuttgart region of Germany, the company covers the entire technical life cycle of buildings and specializes in electrical, climate and energy engineering as well as maintenance.
A family business created in 2008, Salvia Group GmbH has more than 1,600 employees and achieved a turnover of nearly 350 million euros in 2022. Thanks to its 28 sites, it operates
throughout Germany, primarily in the tertiary and industrial sectors. The company is also at the forefront of supporting its customers’ energy and digital transition.
Eiffage Énergie Systèmes already has three major subsidiaries in the country: Elomech in the east, Schwarz and Grantz in the north and Nat in the south, bringing together nearly 1,400 employees. It achieved more than 200 million euros in turnover in Germany in 2022. Fifth acquisition of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes in Europe in 2023 after Gain Automation, VSK Kastenbouw, Safety Service (in the Netherlands) and Pulsar Consulting ( in Belgium), this new transaction allows the Branch to pursue its external growth strategy and significantly strengthen its position in Germany by now having a national player, a vector for the development of its activities in the country.
More broadly, it consolidates Eiffage’s development strategy in Europe which aims to increase its territorial coverage and strengthen its expertise. In Germany, the Group currently has 5,400 employees spread across more than 40 sites which achieved a turnover of 1.4 billion euros in 2022 across building, civil engineering, road, rail, metal, energy systems and concessions, particularly in the field of highway PPPs.
