Cornerstone Building Brands & Lady A Partner to Rebuild Hurricane-Damaged Homes

Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading North American manufacturer of exterior building products, has joined forces with LadyAID, the charitable initiative founded by GRAMMY® Award-winning trio Lady A, to donate $50,000 in exterior building products to Habitat for Humanity. This contribution will help rebuild homes in Tennessee and Georgia that were severely impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The donation includes Variform® vinyl siding and Ply Gem® windows from Cornerstone Building Brands, which will be used to repair homes affected by these storms in areas close to the hearts of Lady A members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood, all of whom hail from Tennessee and Georgia. LadyAID, which supports various disaster-relief and philanthropic initiatives, has previously contributed to recovery efforts, including aid following Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

“As Tennessee natives, we feel deeply connected to these communities,” said Lady A’s Hillary Scott. “Seeing the impact of these storms on friends, family, and neighbors compelled us to step in and help. Partnering with Cornerstone Building Brands and Habitat for Humanity allows us to contribute to essential recovery efforts in the places we call home.”

Susan Selle, Chief Marketing Officer at Cornerstone Building Brands, emphasized the company’s commitment to community rebuilding: “Hurricanes Helene and Milton left behind massive destruction. Community is at the heart of Cornerstone Building Brands, and we’re honored to collaborate with LadyAID and Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild homes and create safe spaces for families.”

This donation marks a new milestone in the ongoing partnership between Cornerstone Building Brands and Lady A, who serve as ambassadors for the company’s Home for Good® project. Lady A recently participated in the Home for Good renovation initiative in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where they helped provide essential home improvements for an elderly couple in need.

Charlita Stephens-Walker, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at Habitat for Humanity International, highlighted the impact of the partnership: “Losing a home leaves families in vulnerable situations, but thanks to the generosity of Cornerstone Building Brands and LadyAID, we’re able to support these families as they rebuild their homes and their lives.”

In addition to this contribution, Cornerstone Building Brands launched a donation drive for hurricane victims in North Carolina and a company-match campaign to support American Red Cross relief efforts in hurricane-affected areas.
