CIMIC’s CPB Contractors named for Sydney Metro West- Eastern Tunnelling Package
CIMIC Group’s construction company CPB Contractors, in common adventure with John Holland and Ghella, has been named by Sydney Metro to deliver the Sydney Metro West – Eastern Tunnelling Package.

CPB Contractors is a 40 per cent common adventure mate delivering the$1.63 billion design.

Sydney Metro West will deliver a new underground rail connection between the CBDs of Parramatta and Sydney. workshop to be delivered under the Eastern Tunnelling Package include3.5 kilometres of metro coverts between future stations at The kudos and Hunter Street in Sydney’s CBD and the excavation of grottoes and shafts at Pyrmont and Hunter Street Stations.

CPB Contractors portfolio of major Sydney tunnelling systems includes the M6( with CIMIC Group company UGL), WestConnex M4 East, M8 and Rozelle Interchange, and the Station Boxes and Tunnelling Works for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport design.

Construction will commence in 2023 and is listed for completion in 2025.
