Additionally, the Company disposed of two operating communities in Houston, Texas, and one community in Phoenix, Arizona, totaling 979 apartment homes. These dispositions generated approximately $201.0 million in proceeds and resulted in a gain of approximately $128.0 million.

Subsequent to quarter-end, Camden began marketing 11 operating communities located in California for potential sale.

Capital Allocation and Share Repurchases

Camden remained active in returning capital to shareholders through share repurchases. During the fourth quarter, the Company repurchased approximately 2.1 million shares at an average price of $106.82 per share, totaling $220.6 million.

For the full year, Camden repurchased approximately 2.5 million shares for $270.6 million. After quarter end, an additional 1.1 million shares were repurchased for $120.7 million.
