Balfour Beatty Communities and U.S. Army Fort Jackson leadership have celebrated the completion of 19 newly constructed homes at Fort Jackson Family Homes, marking another major milestone in the ongoing effort to modernize military housing and improve living conditions for Soldiers and their families.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together Army leaders, representatives from Balfour Beatty Communities, project partners, military families and Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) to recognize the completion of the new residences. The homes are located across the Howie Village and Pierce Terrace neighborhoods and add modern housing options to Fort Jackson’s residential community.
The newly constructed residences are part of a broader $15 million investment in Fort Jackson Family Homes. The investment reflects the continuing partnership between Balfour Beatty Communities and the U.S. Army to modernize housing infrastructure, improve residential communities and provide military families with homes that better meet the expectations and needs of today’s service members.
