Balfour Beatty US has appointed William “Billy” Webb as the new General Manager of its Total Power Group (TPG) operations, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. Webb takes over from former GM Kevin Miller and will lead the team in delivering traction electrification solutions for transit systems, as well as energy systems for aviation and mission-critical facilities across the U.S.

Webb brings over 35 years of experience in power generation and electrical services, including sales, service, maintenance, and installation of emergency power distribution systems. Before joining Balfour Beatty, he served as president of a national commercial and industrial emissions testing company, managing contracts across multiple industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and government facilities.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Webb served as an Electrician’s Mate Petty Officer Second Class aboard the USS Thomas C. Hart. He is also an active supporter of charitable causes like the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society.
