Alstom Secures Space at Blue & William as Leasing Nears Completion
Lendlease today announced that Alstom is the latest to sign at its North Sydney office development at 2 Blue Street (Blue & William).
Australia’s leading provider of rail solutions, Alstom will occupy 1,845 square metres on level 4 of the boutique 10-storey office for its ANZ headquarters, bringing Blue & William to more than 90 per cent leased. This news represents the last chance to sign for space in the highly sought-after A Grade building, with limited availability. This includes a turn-key fitted suite, and a flex space with up to 3.4-metre-high ceilings.
Alstom follows on the heels of recently announced BBC Studios, and joins other tenants including global data, analytics and technology company Equifax, global culture and leadership consultancy firm, Human Synergistics, and one of Australia’s largest rail freight businesses, Pacific National. Alstom is expected to move in early 2025.
Designed by global architecture and design studio Woods Bagot, Blue & William represents the latest in workplace thinking and design, offering a landscaped wellness garden, views of Sydney Harbour, family owned and operated on-site café and caterer, Northbrew Café, and premium lobby and end-of-trip facilities.
The development was acquired by Keppel REIT in December 2021 and reached practical completion in April 2023. Lendlease developed and is managing the building, adding to its growing commercial footprint in North Sydney, which is undergoing major transformation with the opening of Lendlease’s Victoria Cross retail precinct and the new metro station.
The building is designed to achieve the 5 Star Green Star Design and As Built Rating by the Green Building Council of Australia, as well as the 5.5 Stars National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) Base Building Energy Rating.
