AECOM (NYSE: ACM), a global leader in infrastructure consulting, has announced that it has been awarded a program management services contract by the New York Power Authority (NYPA), the largest state-owned public power utility in the United States. In this capacity, AECOM will oversee a range of capital improvement projects in support of NYPA’s VISION2030 strategic plan, which aims to spearhead New York’s energy transition by delivering affordable, clean, and reliable electricity.

Under this contract, AECOM will provide program management services, including engineering, design, and procurement support, to ensure the successful execution of NYPA’s capital projects. AECOM is one of the few global infrastructure firms accredited by the U.S. National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), positioning it uniquely to deliver cost-effective, energy-efficient improvements across NYPA’s diverse facilities.
