Advancing Decarbonization and Clean Energy pretensions in Asia A Q&A with Tanmay Bishnoi
Our Asia Decarbonization Strategy Lead Tanmay Bishnoi shares perceptivity on the most significant decarbonization challenges and openings and how we help our guests chart their net zero peregrinations.
Transitioning to net zero emigrations is one of the most burning challenges of our time. But how do we find the right pathways to emigrations reduction, decarbonization, energy transition and a net zero future? Tanmay Bishnoi, our Asia decarbonization strategy lead, is helping our guests in Asia explore and uncover innovative pathways to realizing their decarbonization and clean energy pretensions.
An mastermind turned operation adviser , Tanmay has expansive experience delivering decarbonization, clean energy results and renewable energy consulting services for guests in Asia, the Middle East, theU.S. and Europe.
Let’s get to know Tanmay, his view on the biggest challenges facing global decarbonization sweats and further in this point
Hi Tanmay! Can you tell us a bit about your part and what are you most passionate about?
In my part, I help to realize our guests ’ decarbonization and clean energy intentions. I work with teammates across the globe to define what’s possible for our guests in areas similar as sustainable finance, decarbonization pathways and climate action, eventually getting their trusted counsel as they progress down the path to net zero.
I ’m passionate about new and arising clean energy technologies and developing innovative pathways towards emigrations reduction, decarbonization, energy transition and a net zero future.
Tell us further about your career background. What sparked your interest in a Brume career in decarbonization?
My background is fairly different and includes aspects of business strategy and operations, entrepreneurship and developing new results for complex business challenges – all of which are translatable to program operation. I draw on further than 14 times of experience delivering decarbonization, clean energy results and renewable energy consulting services working with guests across Asia, the Middle East, theU.S. and Europe. My core focus has been on advising guests on strategy, feasibility analysis, policy and nonsupervisory advice, request assessment, scale up operations, net zero pathways and results associated with emigration reduction and energy transition.
I love problem- working, so I came an mastermind and also moved on to come a operation adviser , furnishing strategic and innovative clean technology results to the most complex challenges facing the earth. I ’ve been interested in sustainability and the clean energy sector ever since 2002 to help support the terrain and reduce carbon emigrations.
What do you suppose are the biggest challenges facing global decarbonization sweats?
One of the biggest challenges to decarbonization is consumer mindfulness and understanding that there are numerous pathways to reduce emigrations and achieve net zero. Without understanding the range of options available, it can be delicate to capture the right blend of results to reduce compass 1, 2 and 3 emigrations.
Another challenge facing global decarbonization sweats is to insure that technology options are available at the needed scale and an respectable cost, along with the need for low- carbon investments and a clear net zero strategy.
To address these challenges hindering the growth line of decarbonization, we will need to find the right balance between government policy and regulations, technology and consumer geste
.
Can you tell us a bit further about the decarbonization results and systems that address some of our request challenges?
With guests across water, transport, erected terrain and power, as well as connections with technology inventors, the investment community and government stakeholders, Jacobs utilizes a programmatic approach towards decarbonization. This approach stretches beyond the physical or governance boundaries of insulated decarbonization systems to uncover solidarity with other systems and stakeholders and help streamline sweats to achieve strong decarbonization issues that profit all stakeholders involved.
Decreasingly competitive and wider renewable energy relinquishment will support the decarbonization of the power sector, whereas the developments in green hydrogen at scale can give the necessary motivation to reduce carbon emigrations in hard- to- abate sectors.
Our Net Zero Labs program is a step toward supporting guests in their decarbonization trip, where we help frame the net zero challenge for our guests through a series of interactive shops and collude out the path forward with our most innovative thinkers and practical problem solvers.
