The newly promoted individuals are:
- Kaitlin Siehs, promoted from Vice President – Treasury & Operations to Director – Treasury & Operations on the Finance and Accounting Team.
- Alla Chertkova, promoted from Fund Controller to Vice President on the Finance and Accounting Team.
- Jack Foley, promoted from Associate to Vice President on the Investment Team.
- Adam Mengden, promoted from Associate to Vice President on the Investment Team.

Team Biographies
Kaitlin Siehs, Director – Treasury & Operations
Ms. Siehs has been with Dune since 2011 and has played a crucial role in overseeing Dune’s treasury and cash management, as well as its performance measurement and reporting processes. Her experience has helped streamline these key operations, contributing to the firm’s strong financial infrastructure. Ms. Siehs holds a B.A. in Business/Economics from Skidmore College.
Alla Chertkova, Vice President – Finance & Accounting
Ms. Chertkova joined Dune in 2010 and has been an essential part of the finance team, focusing on the review and reconciliation of financial and capital statement reporting for various Dune Real Estate Funds. Before her tenure at Dune, she worked as a senior associate at State Street, handling financial reporting and accounting for private equity real estate funds. She also served as a senior accountant at Fortress Investment Group, where she managed private equity funds with investments in German real estate. Ms. Chertkova earned her B.B.A. in Accounting from Baruch College.
Jack Foley, Vice President
Mr. Foley is responsible for evaluating, underwriting, and leading the due diligence process for new investment opportunities. He also contributes to executing business plans and strategies for value creation within Dune’s current investments. Before joining Dune in 2021, Mr. Foley worked at Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Syndicated Finance Group, focusing on the origination and distribution of structured debt products for real estate companies. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University.
Adam Mengden, Vice President
Like Mr. Foley, Mr. Mengden plays a crucial role in evaluating, underwriting, and conducting due diligence for new investment opportunities. He also helps implement value creation strategies for Dune’s ongoing projects. Prior to joining Dune in 2021, Mr. Mengden worked as an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Real Estate, Gaming, and Lodging group, where he supported various high-profile real estate transactions, including M&A deals, IPOs, and acquisitions. Mr. Mengden holds a B.S. in Finance from Penn State University.
