Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a prominent civil, building, and specialty construction firm, announced today that Elevate Inglewood Partners (EIP)—a public-private partnership consortium that includes Plenary Americas US Holdings, Inc. (equity member), Tutor Perini Corporation (lead contractor), Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) (lead designer), Woojin Industrial Systems Co., Ltd. (automated transit system operator and supplier), and Alternate Concepts, Inc. (lead operations and maintenance contractor)—has been chosen as the Best Value Proposer by the City of Inglewood for the Inglewood Transit Connector (ITC) Project.
This project involves the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of a 1.6-mile automated people mover that will link the Metro K Line with Inglewood’s major employment and entertainment hubs, including the Kia Forum, Sofi Stadium, YouTube Theater, and the Intuit Dome, as well as nearby housing and commercial areas. The City is collaborating with LA Metro and the County of Los Angeles to form the ITC Joint Powers Authority, which will manage the design, construction, operations, and maintenance of the ITC after the contract is awarded. Currently, EIP and the City are engaged in discussions and negotiations concerning the project’s pricing and contractual terms.
