Eiffage and Google Cloud Partner to Boost AI Innovation

Eiffage is joining forces with Google Cloud to increase its operational efficiency through a structured approach to its data and AI.

Eiffage’s AI strategy aims to simplify its operational processes, by leveraging its vast data assets in a secure and sustainable manner.

Eiffage will leverage Google Cloud technology and resources to train its employees on AI to facilitate and drive its internal adoption.

Google Cloud and Eiffage, a leading European construction and concessions company, today announced a strategic partnership to develop and implement Eiffage’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy. This collaboration will drive the adoption of AI to increase efficiency and simplify the work of Eiffage’s teams, through a planned technology approach and an acculturation strategy.

Capitalizing on this partnership and using Google Cloud data and AI solutions, Eiffage will develop and implement an AI strategy for its operations, which will facilitate the management of tasks, processes and activities.

The partnership includes the development of an in-house technology platform based on a set of Google Cloud solutions, such as Gemini, Vertex AI, BigQuery and Apigee, in compliance with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. Eiffage will focus on the design and implementation of concrete use cases. Furthermore, Eiffage’s IT platform will benefit from the reduction of the carbon footprint and the improvement of the sustainable development performance of Google Cloud infrastructure, thus supporting Eiffage’s strategy in this area. .

The collaboration also includes the creation of a “data and AI” course within Eiffage University as part of a global acculturation program for technological innovation. The objective is to promote a better understanding of technology and its potential, to develop the skills of employees, and ultimately to enable them to take ownership and become actors of innovation.

“AI is here to help our teams, whatever their functions, entities or geographical areas. This partnership aims to exploit the full potential of our data and to take advantage of our integrated information system, our ERP deployed throughout the Group, to improve efficiency, create value and drive sustainable growth, while respecting the highest security standards,” explained Jean-Philippe FAURE, Director of Information Systems at Eiffage.
