osinger Marazzi, the Swiss subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has won four projects in Switzerland for a cumulative amount of 401 MCHF (410 million euros). From positive energy neighborhoods to multi-use solar energy spaces, these buildings are essential to the daily life of residents and respond to the challenges of energy transition and low-carbon society.
In Worblaufen , north of Bern, the Aarerain project stands out as the first positive energy district in Switzerland, carried out for the Coop Pension Fund (CPV/CAP) . This new residential district will produce more energy than it consumes according to weighted criteria, in accordance with the Positive Energy Neighborhood (QEP) energy standard. This will be possible thanks to the systematic use of photovoltaic panels on the roofs and facades of buildings of six to eight floors. Heat production will be ensured by geothermal probes. In addition to housing, a nursery and workshops are planned on the ground floor, thus bringing the neighborhood square to life.
The project, located in the town of Vernier , near Geneva , stands out for the variety of uses of its 4 buildings . They host various types of businesses such as startups, local craft businesses or even large international high-tech companies . The site has a sustainable energy supply, notably through centralized heat production powered by the sustainable heating network of Services Industriels de Genève (SIG) and photovoltaic solar panels on the roof. Carried out on behalf of Arab Bank Switzerland , Quarz’up aims to strengthen the links between economic activities and the population, through the integration of a farm and urban greenhouses , promoting short circuits . Quarz’Up is aiming for Minergie ® and WELL Community certifications , validating its commitment to the environment and to the comfort and quality of life of its occupants.
The new construction will bring together , in 2026, around 1,450 employees of the cantonal administration under one roof . The building was designed around a mix of uses in addition to office space : reception areas for the public, a police station, restaurants and shops on the ground floor , as well as as accommodation and a nursery on the upper floors . The project, in a mixed concrete-wood structure, consists of a base of six levels and a tower. At the center of the complex, a building dedicated to welcoming the public will be made entirely of wood. Photovoltaic modules are planned on the roofs as well as on certain parts of the facade for the production of electricity . The entire heat and cold supply will be ensured by a connection to the district heating “ Wärmeverbund Seetalplatz ”. The offices and restaurant will benefit from natural lighting thanks to the atrium roof terrace, and three interior courtyards offering a pleasant setting. The building is being built on behalf of the canton of Lucerne.
The Acacias project, located in the heart of Geneva, is the result of a competition lasting almost a year. It was selected for its urban planning and architectural qualities, its energy performance, its limited environmental impact as well as its economic feasibility. The Acacias are structured around a tree-lined square accessible from several points, creating an open ensemble. Carried out for the real estate company Acacias-Lièvre B SA, the project includes 4,000 m² of commercial space to energize the neighborhood, while offering a diversity of housing over a total surface area of 36,000 m². The Acacias will thus benefit from CO 2 neutral heating production .
